Portable RE update

I have been slowly but surely making changes to my portable Rose Engine that I bought from Gerry Marlowe. I wasn’t happy with the motor that powered the spindle in that it was a geared 24v motor that at times seemed to lack torque and with a V belt it could sometimes slip on the pulleys. I decided to replace it with a Nema 17 stepper motor and an SMC02 stepper motor controller, both items I had in my box of bits. I designed and 3D printed a suitable mounting for the stepper motor and have used a 3:1 ratio of toothed belt drive. Initial testing shows that this has been a worthwhile update.
